Devin + Alex

Bentonville, AR // The Ballroom at I Street

Alex and Devin met in high school, but they didn’t start dating until much later. 

Their relationship and marriage has been supported by their families and the community that they have surrounded themselves with. They both serve in the church and put God first in their lives. Alex and Devin both have such bubbly and easy to love personalities. They are so kind and make you feel known, seen and cared for. 

Devin proposed on New Year's Eve in the jewelry store. It was just the two of them and the only ring in all of the glass cases was Alex’s. He asked her to marry him and then they attended a small gathering of their close family and friends at an Italian restaurant where they celebrated their engagement with charcuterie boards, wine and cupcakes. 

I was so honored that they asked me to photograph their big day. Their wedding was 6 months later in June at the Ballroom at I Street in Bentonville, AR. This venue was quaint, sweet and so perfect for them. Alex and her girls went to Onyx Coffee Lab and then went for a walk in nature to start off their morning in a peaceful way. Alex had family friends prepare the sweetest brunch for all of the girls. It was truly a beautiful masterpiece. I loved how slowly they enjoyed every bit of the morning and afternoon just spending time together and enjoying each moment. There was no ounce of rush, worry, or panic. 

The girls started getting ready and they guys shortly followed. The ceremony began and it was such a beautiful day.
